Étude in E♭ major, Op. 10, №11 “Arpeggio” (0:15)
The abridged piano Étude in E♭ major, Op. 10, №11 “Arpeggio” by Frédéric Chopin.

Étude in E♭ major, Op. 10, №11, is a technical study composed by Frédéric Chopin. It is sometimes given the titles “Arpeggio Study” and “Guitar Study.” The chief difficulty addressed in this piece is the performance of extended arpeggiated chords. Throughout, the hands are required to stretch intervals as large as compound fifths. The melody, though usually the highest note of each chord, is often found in the inner parts, with the higher parts simply being part of the accompaniment. The piece is also notable for its chromatic harmonies, which were daring at the time, and enharmonic shifts.
